The Vitamin B-Complex test is a blood analysis that measures the levels of various B vitamins in the blood, including Vitamin B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B6 (pyridoxine), B11 (folic acid), and B12 (cobalamin). These vitamins play crucial roles in the body, such as supporting metabolism, maintaining healthy skin and hair, and promoting nerve function.
Testing for Vitamin B-Complex is useful for individuals experiencing symptoms of a vitamin B deficiency, such as fatigue, weakness, constipation, nerve damage, or people with conditions that affect nutrient absorption. It is also beneficial for those who wish to monitor their general health and ensure optimal intake of these essential nutrients.
The results of the Vitamin B-Complex test indicate the levels of each tested vitamin in the blood. Abnormal levels may point to a deficiency or, in rare cases, an excess of these vitamins, which can cause or indicate various health concerns.
A high level of one or more B vitamins may indicate overconsumption through diet or supplements. Although rare, an excess of certain B vitamins, such as B6, can cause neurological problems.
A low level of one or more B vitamins may indicate a deficiency, which can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, anemia, depression, skin problems, and neurological problems. A deficiency in certain B vitamins, such as B12 and folic acid, is particularly concerning and can cause serious health issues.

At most collection points yes. Some accept walk-ins. This is clearly indicated per location. You choose the location that works best for you.
That depends on the test. Whether fasting is required, and from what time, is clearly stated in the instructions you receive after ordering. No surprises at the counter.
It varies per analysis: from same-day to a few working days. Standard values often come back quickly; analyses that go to an external lab can take a bit longer. You get an email with a link to your digital result, including a short explanation per value.
