The scientific support for this test within mainstream Dutch healthcare is limited. The test is not included in NHG/FMS standard guidelines.
Rationale for this test
De wetenschappelijke onderbouwing voor secretorisch IgA-meting in ontlasting binnen de Nederlandse reguliere zorg is beperkt. De test is niet opgenomen in standaard-richtlijnen van NHG of FMS voor diagnostiek van darmklachten. Hoewel sIgA een rol speelt in het darmimmuunsysteem, ontbreekt consensus over normaalwaarden en klinische interpretatie bij asymptomatische personen.
