How it works
Step 1
Prepare
Use a clean, dry collection pan or place plastic wrap over the toilet.
Step 2
Collect sample
Use the included scoop to collect a small amount of stool in the container.
Step 3
Close container
Close the container tightly and label it with your information and collection date.
Step 4
Store
Store the sample in the refrigerator until shipping (max 24-48 hours).
Step 5
Send to lab
Place the container in the return envelope and mail as soon as possible.
Helpful tips
For a clean sample and smooth analysis.
- Collect the sample from the middle part of the stool
- Avoid contact with urine or toilet water
- Mail preferably at the beginning of the week (not before weekend)
- Wash your hands thoroughly after collection
