The Cardio Profile Extensive is a highly advanced blood test that combines the most modern and accurate markers for an in-depth analysis of cardiovascular health. In addition to classic cholesterol values, advanced risk factors such as Lipoprotein(a) and Apolipoprotein B/A1 are also measured. This test is specifically developed for individuals with a high-risk profile, a family history of cardiovascular disease at a young age, or for whom a standard cholesterol test provides insufficient information. It offers the most complete and accurate assessment of cardiovascular risk.
This test is suitable for individuals with a high cardiovascular risk who desire a very accurate analysis. Lipoprotein(a) is a hereditary risk factor that standard cholesterol tests do not measure, but it significantly increases the risk of heart attack. Apolipoprotein B is a better predictor of cardiovascular risk than LDL-cholesterol alone. The Apo B/A1 ratio provides a very accurate risk assessment. This test is especially important for young patients with cardiovascular disease, a family history of early heart attacks, normal cholesterol but still cardiovascular problems, or with unexplained high cardiovascular risk. No fasting required.

After ordering we generate a referral letter and email you the instructions. You pick a collection point yourself and book an appointment there. Blood is drawn at the location, processed at the lab, and your result arrives digitally.
Often within a few working days. How soon you can be seen depends on how busy the location is and the type of analysis. For specialist analyses we first ship collection materials, which takes a bit longer.
At most collection points yes. Some accept walk-ins. This is clearly indicated per location. You choose the location that works best for you.
That depends on the test. Whether fasting is required, and from what time, is clearly stated in the instructions you receive after ordering. No surprises at the counter.
Usually within a few working days after collection. Turnaround time varies by analysis; analyses sent to an external lab can take longer. You receive your laboratory report securely by email. It lists the measured values, units, reference ranges and any flags added by the laboratory.
