The Platos Panel is a fixed metabolic blood panel, assembled for users of the Platos platform. We measure 14 markers that together give a complete picture of your metabolic health:
The panel is assembled for Platos users who want a precise measurement of their metabolic health. Platos uses these markers to calibrate your personal metabolic profile against real blood values.
The combination of blood sugar, insulin and HOMA-IR shows how hard your body works to keep your blood sugar in balance. The lipid profile with ApoB maps your cardiovascular risk, hs-CRP reflects systemic inflammation, the liver enzymes assess your liver function, and cortisol and uric acid provide insight into stress and metabolic risk.
Fasting: no food for 12 hours before collection
Always discuss an abnormal result with your GP. If a result is strongly abnormal, we try to reach you as soon as possible. Read your result yourself as well and contact your GP if in doubt. A test does not make a diagnosis. Read more about risks and results

Practical information
After ordering we generate a referral letter and email you the instructions. You pick a collection point yourself and book an appointment there. Blood is drawn at the location, processed at the lab, and your result arrives digitally.
Often within a few working days. How soon you can be seen depends on how busy the location is and the type of analysis. For specialist analyses we first ship collection materials, which takes a bit longer.
At most collection points yes. Some accept walk-ins. This is clearly indicated per location. You choose the location that works best for you.
That depends on the test. Whether fasting is required, and from what time, is clearly stated in the instructions you receive after ordering. No surprises at the counter.
Usually within a few working days after collection. Turnaround time varies by analysis; analyses sent to an external lab can take longer. You receive your laboratory report securely by email. It lists the measured values, units, reference ranges and any flags added by the laboratory.
